The DEEP and INFRA modes enhance low-frequency extension down to approximately 40Hz, while PUNCH concentrates output in the 60 to 95Hz range. Cardioid configuration presets support effective rear sound rejection in two or three-subwoofer setups. The subwoofer includes a digital six-step delay, stereo XLR inputs and links, phase and level controls, and a powerCON TRUE1 power system. Constructed from 18mm Baltic birch plywood with a durable coating, the Q 118SA also features M20 top mount sockets and four aluminium handles for ease of deployment.

The MUSE 118FSCND variant is supplied preconfigured for cardioid use. A hybrid band-pass design, optimised via BEM finite element modelling, ensures extended low-frequency response in a compact enclosure. Its large laminar-flow port minimises turbulence and power compression, enabling efficient low-frequency output. Equipped with an 18 inch B&C custom high-excursion neodymium woofer and a 3.5 inch voice coil, the MITUS 118FSA FSCA delivers precise bass reproduction from 33 hertz. The integrated 1200 watt RMS Class D amplifier includes DSP with eight presets, including cardioid and infra settings. Housed in a robust birch plywood cabinet with a scratch-resistant finish, the MITUS 118FSA FSCA is ideal for flown or ground-stacked use.

The HORIZON VHA118SND vertical horizontal active subwoofer delivers exceptional low-frequency performance, designed to maintain high sound pressure levels over extended periods. Leveraging BEM finite element analysis, FBT has precisely optimised the woofer load volume, while the grille and protective fabric have been engineered to reduce acoustic impedance, resulting in enhanced output. The HORIZON VHA118SND extends system frequency response down to 30Hz and supports ground-stacked operation via integrated mounting hardware. Central to the design is an 800 plus 400 watt RMS amplifier with a TCP IP network interface, fully compliant with the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 protocol. This allows 24-bit 48 to 96kHz digital audio transmission over DANTE-compatible systems, with remote control enabled through the INFINITO System Management Suite. Housed in a robust aluminium chassis with smart forced-air cooling, the module includes an OLED display with encoder and a daylight-visible blue LED for easy device identification. The entire system has been developed in-house by FBT’s engineering team.

The HORIZON VHA112SND is a vertical horizontal array active subwoofer designed to deliver extended low-frequency performance in small to medium-sized sound reinforcement applications. Built to complement the VHA406A in both dimensions and form factor, it features a single 12-inch B&C long-excursion woofer housed in a bass reflex cabinet engineered with laminar airflow to reduce acoustic turbulence. Powered by a 1200W Class D amplifier with integrated DSP, it provides precise control through filtering, EQ, and limiting functions. For higher-output requirements, the VHA118SND offers a ground-stacked alternative with a high-performance 18-inch B&C driver and a 2000W Class D amplifier, including six refined preset configurations. At the system’s core is an 800 plus 400W RMS amplifier with TCP IP connectivity, supporting AES70 OCA Alliance standards and Dante-compatible 24-bit digital audio streaming. Integrated with the INFINITO System Management Suite, the module enables remote configuration and monitoring, delivering reliable control for professional audio installations.
