The MUSE 218SA subwoofer is a high-performance ground-stacked solution designed to enhance the low-frequency response of the MUSE 210LND line array system. This direct-radiating subwoofer features two B&C 460mm long-excursion woofers with 100mm voice coils, powered by a 4000W RMS Class D amplifier with a switch-mode power supply, delivering a maximum SPL of 148.5dB. Its bass-reflex enclosure, constructed from 18mm birch plywood and coated in scratch-resistant paint, is acoustically optimised using BEM simulation to minimise duct turbulence and resonance. The MUSE 218SA provides extended low-frequency output down to 30Hz at -6dB and includes presets for cardioid configurations, enabling rear-facing units to reduce rearward SPL by over 15dB. It incorporates a reinforced metal grille with protective fabric, M20 top mount stand socket, six integrated handles, and optional rear panel fittings for four 100mm swivel casters. The MUSE 218SA is engineered for robust, high-output performance in demanding professional audio environments.
