The MITUS 118FSA and MITUS 118FSCA are processed cardioid flyable active subwoofers designed for high-performance professional audio applications. Featuring a compact hybrid band-pass design, the MITUS 118FSA FSCA combines the extended frequency response and fast transient performance of vented systems with the acoustic control of a band-pass configuration. Engineered for cardioid array configurations, the enclosure supports both front-firing (FSA) and rear-firing (FSCA) suspension, fully compatible with the MITUS 206LA line array. Its large laminar-flow port minimises turbulence and power compression, enabling efficient low-frequency output. Equipped with an 18 inch B&C custom high-excursion neodymium woofer and a 3.5 inch voice coil, the MITUS 118FSA FSCA delivers precise bass reproduction from 33 hertz. The integrated 1200 watt RMS Class D amplifier includes DSP with eight presets, including cardioid and infra settings. Housed in a robust birch plywood cabinet with a scratch-resistant finish, the MITUS 118FSA FSCA is ideal for flown or ground-stacked use.
