  • NoizCalc

    NoizCalc

d&b NoizCalc software enables accurate simulation of sound propagation from d&b sound systems in outdoor environments. Drawing on data from the d&b ArrayCalc simulation platform, it generates detailed noise contour maps aligned with recognised international standards. This allows for precise control of sound distribution, ensuring optimal audio delivery to the intended audience while limiting exposure beyond the designated area. d&b NoizCalc supports complex system configurations incorporating a range of d&b loudspeakers, including line arrays, point sources, subwoofer arrays, fill systems, and delay lines. Users can model and evaluate various system setups, adjusting placement and amplification parameters to meet specific acoustic requirements. Developed in partnership with SoundPLAN, a leader in environmental noise prediction software, d&b NoizCalc is a valuable planning tool for system designers working to meet both performance objectives and regulatory compliance in open-air event scenarios.
