The Vi8 is a professional-grade 3-way passive line array loudspeaker designed for precise audio performance in demanding environments. It features two 10-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers arranged symmetrically around a centrally positioned coaxial unit comprising an 8-inch horn-loaded midrange driver and two 1.4-inch exit high-frequency compression drivers with 2.5-inch voice coils. This configuration ensures consistent horizontal dispersion of 80 degrees, maintained down to 250 Hz, thanks to the optimised crossover alignment between frequency bands.
The Vi8 is suitable for flown vertical arrays of up to 24 cabinets, configured as full Vi8 arrays or combined with Vi12 and Vi subwoofer modules for extended system flexibility. The enclosure is built from marine-grade plywood and finished with a robust polyurea coating for enhanced durability in both indoor and outdoor applications. A rigid metal grille, backed by acoustically transparent foam, protects the front of the cabinet.
