The d&b E12X SUB is a compact and lightweight subwoofer engineered to deliver high-performance low frequency reinforcement within the d&b E Series. Designed with a built-in passive crossover, the d&b E12X SUB can be connected in parallel with the E8 loudspeaker, using a single amplifier channel to significantly enhance low frequency extension and headroom. When used in Active mode, it requires a dedicated amplifier channel and can support any loudspeaker within the E Series range without hardware modifications. The cabinet of the d&b E12X SUB is built from marine-grade plywood, featuring an impact-resistant finish, integrated handle, and an M20 threaded top flange to accommodate the d&b Loudspeaker stand winder M20. For diverse application needs, the d&b E12X SUB is available in Special Colour and Weather Resistant versions. The Weather Resistant model achieves an IP55 rating, enabling dependable performance in variable environmental conditions.
