The Bi8 SUB is a highly compact installation subwoofer designed to complement d&b audiotechnik’s xC, xS and E Series loudspeakers. As the installation variant of the B8 subwoofer, the Bi8 SUB shares identical acoustic performance, differing only in enclosure design and mounting features. It incorporates two 6.5-inch drivers within a bass reflex housing, delivering extended low frequency performance from 43 Hz to 170 Hz. When set to 100 Hz mode, the upper limit narrows to 125 Hz. With a height of just 170 millimetres, the Bi8 SUB is well suited to discreet integration in smaller environments requiring enhanced low frequency output and high sound pressure levels. The subwoofer can be installed either horizontally or vertically, with M8 threaded inserts on each side panel for bracket attachment. The Bi8 SUB features a durable marine plywood enclosure finished in black, with a protective metal grille and connectivity options including NL4 connectors and a two-pole screw terminal. SC and WR (IP55) versions are available.
