The KSLi8 line array loudspeaker is the installation-specific version of the KSL8, designed for high-performance sound reinforcement in medium to large venues. It delivers an 80° constant directivity horizontal dispersion across its full frequency range, ensuring precise coverage. The KSLi8 features two forward-facing 10″ neodymium low-frequency drivers and two side-firing 8″ neodymium LF drivers. Its coaxial mid-high assembly includes an 8″ MF driver within a dedicated horn, along with two 1.4″ exit, 3″ voice coil HF compression drivers on a custom wave shaping device.
This configuration enables accurate crossover performance and consistent horizontal dispersion, even coverage, and excellent tonal balance. The advanced cabinet design also allows directivity control to extend from the lowest frequencies up to 18 kHz. The KSLi8 operates via two amplifier channels: one powering the 10″ LF drivers and the other driving the remaining components via a passive crossover.
It includes integrated SL-Series rigging with adjustable splay angles from 0° to 10° in 1° steps. For enhanced versatility, the KSLi8 supports cabinet linking in Line or Arc mode. Built from marine-grade plywood with a durable Polyurea coating, the enclosure features robust metal grills with water-repellent, acoustically transparent backing.
