The DS20 Audio Network Bridge serves as a key interface between Milan audio networks and AES3 digital audio signals, while also enabling the distribution of Ethernet-based control data. Housed in a 1 RU chassis, the DS20 integrates into the d&b system architecture ahead of the amplifiers in the signal path, supporting both touring and fixed installations. It transmits metadata such as Milan channel labels and cable configuration via the AES3 stream directly to d&b four channel amplifiers. Alongside Milan-to-AES3 network bridging, the DS20 Audio Network Bridge offers four digital AES3 input channels for additional sources, including signals from a Front of House console. Equipped with a fully AVB-compliant five-port switch, the DS20 supports primary and redundant Milan networks while providing connectivity for remote control via the R1 software using the OCA protocol. Its front panel layout aligns with d&b Touring rack systems, and its wide-range power supply includes overvoltage protection up to 400 volts.
