The MUSE 118FSA FSCA is a compact, cardioid-arrayable active subwoofer featuring a hybrid band-pass design. This configuration combines the extended frequency range and responsiveness of a vented system with the acoustic control of a band-pass enclosure, ensuring high output and reduced distortion. Engineered for compatibility with the MUSE 210La system, it supports suspended installation in either forward- or rear-firing orientation, with user-adjustable grille and amplifier placement to maintain visual consistency in cardioid arrays. Its large laminar-flow port design minimises turbulence and power compression, delivering stable performance at high SPL levels. In cardioid setups using one rear-facing and two front-facing units, the MUSE 118FSA FSCA achieves over 15 decibels of rear rejection. The subwoofer incorporates an 18-inch B&C neodymium woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, delivering frequencies from 33Hz to 1Hz. A Class D amplifier with a switch-mode power supply provides 1200 watts RMS output for consistent, reliable operation.
