The KSL-SUB is a cardioid subwoofer designed specifically for integration within the KSL System, complementing KSL8 and KSL12 loudspeakers in both flown (KSL-SUB) and ground-stacked (KSL-GSUB) configurations. When paired with the KSL-SUB Adapter Frame, the KSL-SUB can be deployed in mixed flown arrays alongside KSL-TOP cabinets. This active, two-way bass-reflex unit features three high-performance 15-inch neodymium drivers, with two forward-facing and one rear-facing, each housed in separate bass reflex enclosures and powered by dedicated amplifier channels. The cardioid configuration of the KSL-SUB significantly reduces rearward sound dispersion, minimising reverberant field interference and enhancing low-frequency clarity. The system offers a frequency range of 36 Hz to 105 Hz, extending to 33 Hz to 75 Hz in INFRA mode. Engineered for durability, the KSL-SUB is built from marine-grade plywood with a robust PCP finish and protective metal grills, incorporating rigging hardware for suspended use, while the KSL-GSUB is tailored for ground stack deployment.
