QA 108A

The QA 108A Precision Coverage Vertical Active Array is a compact, high-performance loudspeaker system engineered for consistent vertical sound distribution. It features a 200mm (8-inch) B&C neodymium woofer with a 2-inch voice coil and a 150mm (6-inch) neodymium pleated diaphragm tweeter, integrated with a cylindrical waveguide offering 10 degrees vertical by 100 degrees horizontal dispersion. With a total output of 500 watts RMS (400 watts for LF and 100 watts for HF), the QA 108A delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 131dB. Its onboard Class D amplifier includes a switch-mode power supply and DSP with four configuration presets, enabling flexible array setups. The control panel provides XLR input and loop output, volume, EQ selection, HP filter, and LED indicators. Housed in a robust 12mm Baltic birch enclosure with a 10-degree trapezoidal angle, it includes Powercon connectors and integrated aluminium rigging hardware, adjustable in one-degree increments for precise deployment.
