The Yi8 line array loudspeaker is a compact, high-performance solution designed for vertical column installations. This 2-way passive speaker incorporates two 8-inch drivers in a dipole configuration alongside a centrally positioned 1.4-inch compression driver with a wave transformer. As the installation variant of the Y8, the Yi8 loudspeaker features modified cabinet construction, surface finish, and mounting options to suit fixed installations. Engineered with advanced horn geometry and a refined bass-reflex port, the Yi8 loudspeaker delivers extended low-frequency response and consistent full-range performance. It offers a controlled 80-degree horizontal dispersion maintained down to 500 Hz. The design supports vertical arrays of up to twenty-four modules with adjustable splay angles between 0 and 14 degrees in 1-degree increments. The enclosure is built from marine-grade plywood with a durable paint finish. Weather Resistant and Special Colour options are available, with the WR version achieving an IP55 rating for use in environments with variable weather conditions.
