CPA Extension Column

The CPA Extension Column by Chief is engineered to support a range of installation requirements while presenting a clean, professional finish. Offered in both black and silver, the CPA Extension Column features a dual pin connection system that secures with thread-forming screws at each end, inserted into pre-drilled holes. This design preserves the column’s internal space, allowing cables to pass through unobstructed. The column can be cut to specific lengths, re-drilled, or threaded to 1.5-inch NPT, providing greater installation flexibility. It is fully compatible with Chief ceiling plates, including CPA261 and CPA262, as well as dedicated pin connection ceiling plates. For improved aesthetics and functional installation, the CPA Extension Column includes surface grooves that serve as visual guides for accurate drilling. Available in multiple lengths, each unit is supplied with three pre-drilled holes at both ends, supporting efficient integration into a variety of AV or structural ceiling-mounted configurations.
